Dr. April Linder is a distinguished graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She furthered her education by completing the prestigious Oral Medicine Clinical Fellows Program, a joint initiative between the University of Maryland and Perry Point Veterans Affairs Hospital. Throughout her career, Dr. Linder has remained committed to education and professional growth, frequently invited to speak to dental students about the latest updates in oral medicine. She has also volunteered as faculty in the Special Care and Geriatrics clinic at the University of Maryland, sharing her expertise with future generations of dental professionals. Her exceptional care was recognized at the VA, where a patient nominated her for the Gold Pin Award for Certificate of Caring and Courtesy.

Dr. Linder is known for her patient-centered approach to care. She believes in focusing on one patient at a time, taking the time to listen to each individual’s concerns and needs. By truly understanding her patients, she is able to guide them in making informed decisions about their treatment options, ensuring the best possible outcomes. Her compassionate, attentive approach to dentistry has earned her the trust and respect of both her patients and colleagues.
Dr. Linder is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Southern Maryland Dental Society, the Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists, and the Maryland State Dental Association. She has also held leadership roles as past Secretary and current Treasurer of the Maimonides Dental Society, a professional organization that focuses on providing continuing education, and supporting professional development. In 2023, Dr. Linder was inducted into the American College of Dentists as a Fellow, a significant honor in the dental community. She is a dedicated advocate for those with Sjögren’s syndrome, participating annually in walks for the Sjögren’s Foundation and regularly serving as a panelist for their expert forums.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Linder enjoys a fulfilling personal life with her husband, two sons, and their beloved dogs. A longtime enthusiast of spin cycling, she now enjoys riding on her Peloton. As a devoted Harry Potter fan, Dr. Linder also dedicates time to volunteering with her high school’s speech and debate team, further supporting her community.
